Website
management – what has local government learnt so far? |

The
importance placed on local government websites and the provision
of services online will only get greater. As access to the internet
and broadband continues to grow, people become more accustomed to
carrying out transactions online, bringing pressure from both central
government and the public for local government to make all their
services not just available online, but quicky, easily and accessibly.

network to link Worcestershire NHS |

Findability
on government sites: still room for improvement |

Chris
Rourke is founder and principal consultant at leading usability
consultancy User Vision. He has over 15 years consultancy and training
experience in usability and human factors applied primarily to websites,
software, mobile and consumer products. Qualified in both Engineering
Psychology and Ergonomics, Chris is President of the Scottish Chapter
of the Usability Professionals' Association and is a member of various
professional organisations, including the British Human-Computer
Interaction Group (BHCIG). Chris comments on “findability”
