Government Connect

Responsibility for the Government Connect programme recently migrated from Bolton to Tameside MBC and the North West e-Government Group. Taking on the leadership will, says Janet Callender, create a catalyst that will deliver transformed services across the whole of government.

Tameside and NWeGG are delighted to be given the opportunity to lead the ongoing development of Government Connect. Tameside have been involved in Government Connect as a key partner throughout the early phases, and are really committed to the success of the programme. We are a 4 star Authority with a national reputation for ICT, and NWeGG is an effective network with strong Local Authority relationships and a proven track record of successful delivery.
