Freedom of Information Masterclass

With less then two months to go before full implementation of FOI, it would be surprising if there were not a few concerns about how best to handle the practicalities come January. Ark Group's masterclass set out to allay our fears. Debora Parr was there.

This two-day event organised by Ark Group was made up of a mixture of presentations, practical exercises and open question-and-answer sessions. It was lead by Alan Stead, Chair of the National Association for Information Management, and attended by 15 delegates from a variety of sectors. The small group size, informal format and obvious experience and expertise of the course leader made this the ideal way to explore the implications of the FOI in some depth.
